for a new set thoughts
and evict those
that currently reside
Make some room in your heart
for another to dwell
and from you
love will no longer hide
Make some room in your days
for some new things to do
and enjoy
more of what life has in store
Make some space in your life
for those other than you
and you'll soon
hear a knock on the door
Fill the void in your life
by creating some space
or what you are seeking
may never come in
So clear out the cobwebs
and hang out a sign
so that all know
to apply within!
COMMENTARY:
If you were expecting a house guest, chances are you'd make some sort of preparation for his or her arrival, so that he or she would feel welcomed and accommodated. Why not do the same for anything you wish to come into your life? Make physical as well as emotional room for your tenants. Friends, love, money, enjoyment, all need a place in your life to stay if they come to visit. And, if you make it really comfortable for them, who knows, perhaps they'll even move in!
