''Empathy''
all perception hides a need
So the trick to knowing others
is to find what thirst they feed
Truly rare's the act committed
that's just evil through and through
Most are deeds based on fears
and sad and sorrowful world views
Some fear loss will be their lot
and anticipate attack
Some see love as unrequited
so they run and don't look back
Hasten not to condemnation
don't throw baby out with bath
Never fault a man his actions
'til you walk his earthly path
COMMENTARY:
It may seem strange to you. It may defy explanation. It may seem like evil incarnate, the dis of all disses...but wait, there's always another side to the story. Perhaps if you saw the world the way he sees it, it might make more sense. Perhaps if you lived her life and experienced the perceptions she was taught, it might provide fresh insight into the actions you find so inexplicable. It doesn't mean you have to forgive, or even interact, but at least you can understand. You think?
