''Stripped Priceless''

it's not what I had thought
It's not the fur and feathers
or the wings that I had bought
When stripped of all the wind
that I had used to fill my sail
I drifted, fell and faltered
but survived to tell the tale
Empowered by the insights
that life's turmoil often brings
I now live life much freer
way beyond the yoke of things
The Moral:
Some will fight too hard
to keep the walls from coming down
Some hang on for life
on sinking ships prepared to drown
Others see the light
and let the edifices crumble
They know they'll rise after the fall
so they never fear the tumble
COMMENTARY:
The losses, dear one, are all opportunities for rebirth. Each successive stripping away of the things you thought were so vital, are opportunities to see what's left after the non-essential stuff is gone. It's an opportunity to be reborn unencumbered by the attachments that have kept you imprisoned. You are only as valuable as the things you allow to control you. And it is only in the absence of these things that you will recognize the priceless worth and beauty within that shows you what you can do without.
