''A Process of Recovery''
though you may not see the light
You always know the answer
though you may not get it right
A process of recovery
is what learning's all about
Though knowledge is in easy reach
you may not pull it out
The genius, sage and gifted
bless them all but know this too
The same fountain of knowledge
is available to you
No more or less, no good or bad
no smarter they than you
How much you choose to reconnect
is all you'll ever do
No different in reality
oh, so different in perception
Acceptance of your failings:
just degrees of self-deception
The choice is yours to be much more
despite what you are seeing
To lift the cloud of conscious
limitations on your being
No nothing is beyond you
but believing makes it so
All growth is just remembering
things your soul already knows!
COMMENTARY:
It's my contention that some intelligence is nothing more than the ability to connect to information that is "floating" in the ether awaiting anyone to "tune" in to the right frequency. There is no truth that cannot be readily grasped by any mind that is tuned correctly. And there is no truth that is not already intuitively known by every soul. My tutoring and consulting sessions start with that basic premise-- that everyone can understand any concept given the right explanation and sequence of steps to get from where they are in their understanding to where they need to be. Anyone who doesn't exhibit the traditional signs of great mental skill or intelligence is simply operating without all the information. Remember that, and be patient with yourself or with that certain someone you know as you guide you or them through the process of recovering the forgotten pieces.
