this new way to relate
For years we've known things as they were
what now shall we create?
It means new definitions
a shift to new from old
A chance to be a different me
and play another role
Sometimes we see things as they were
and fear asking for more
Sometimes we see things that might be
that scares us even more
It takes new eyes to see the world
beyond the past you know
With open mind the task will ease
what better way to grow?
COMMENTARY:
The past does not equal the present or the future. Who you or someone else was (even just a minute before) can change in an instant. Keep an open mind to life's miracles of change that help you move into the future. Give it a chance to become what it could be. Things are only as real as your faith in their reality. Note: The first few Walt's Friday Inspiration emails included quotes from various authors and personalities. It wasn't until episode 19 that I tried my hand at writing the rhyme-based inspirational messages myself. The rest, as they, is history...
