It's the same life lesson once again
I'm learning how not to judge
But habits can be like mules sometimes
and just refuse to budge

When preconceptions take control
I don't accept all as I should
But everyone deserves a chance in life
so I'll focus on their good

I'm prone to discount others' worth
and value judge by what I see
But another's worth mirrors my own
so I'm really judging me

My world is made by gifts of thought
and I only get that which I give
So I'll judge not lest I too be judged
and learn my lesson of how to live
Note: The first few Walt's Friday Inspiration emails included quotes from various authors and personalities. It wasn't until episode 19 that I tried my hand at writing the rhyme-based inspirational messages myself. The rest, as they, is history...
