''Perhaps One Day You'll Tell Your Story''

as they gather at your feet
The one that you were born to tell
with encore and repeat
It will start like every other
frail and helpless with eyes closed
With potential and a purpose
that in time would be exposed
Shaped and guided by the lessons
given all life's rules and tools
Tested by the many choices
offered in life's many schools
Joining in the quest for happiness
all in time are bound to make
Finding meaning in the moments
and the good in each mistake
Facing fears, and trouncing failure
while defining you anew
Choosing new ways of perceiving
things you thought you really knew
And in time proudly emerging
safe, serene and satisfied
With a fruitful life constructed
honoring what lives inside
A timeless saga of your triumph
over obstacles through pain
Smiling broadly as you tell it
for you'd do it all again
Make your life a tale worth hearing
grasp and wield the author's pen
Live each day to tell your story
for if not now, my friend, then when?
COMMENTARY:
The story they'll tell about you is the same one you have the power to write and tell about yourself. If you don't like the way your story is unfolding, take heart. You can start a new chapter today. Sit down and begin to compose the story you want to be able to tell a year from now. Then, check out my "Turn Your Passion Into Profit...As a Writer" course!
