One day I'll make a movie
everyone will rush to see
An epic, yes, a classic too
a winner you'll agree
It'll pique your deep desires
of some riches to be won
It'll pose the sort of question
that makes conversation fun
It'll add a touch of mystery
so the future is in doubt
And tease you with an ending
that no one can figure out
Our hero's ways and walk
will make girls swoon and boys pretend
The search for pride or passion
adds some challenge to transcend
With drama, pain and struggle
and a world to save or fix
with victory over villains
you know, all the usual tricks
You'll laugh and cry and cheer
and hang on every word they say
Through settings and a climax
that just takes your breath away
And, then, the happy ending
(that's what all are rooting for)
Or one that gives you faith
to hope a sequel is in store
Perhaps I'll make a movie....yes.
or maybe better still
I'll make my dreams the plot line
of an epic I'LL fulfill!
COMMENTARY:
The perfect movie sounds a lot like life, doesn't it? Don't wait for the Director's shout of "Action" or "Cut" to take living your dream life and role seriously.
