You'd rather be someplace else I know
I've felt that way sometimes
The kind of day where decent folk
feel like committing crimes

You'd rather be doing something else
why anything else in fact
The work's hard and you work
to keep your sanity intact

A Bad Here day is what it is:
"It's bad here. Got to go!
And find a place and people
who support my need to grow!"

The question asked on bad here days
is not "what am I doing here?"
But "what am I learning here
so I can go from here to there?"

COMMENTARY:
A "bad here" day is an experience in which you realize that "it's bad here" and you need to be someplace else. Whether it's a toxic relationship, a job that you hate or a brief encounter with someone else who's acting out their own issues, your life will always have its share of bad here days. Be reminded, however, that each experience does, in fact, have something to teach you about yourself and others. But there's no need to linger longer than necessary! Learn the lesson and go!

[Thought to self: Hmmm...., I like that:
No need to linger longer
learn the lesson and leave!]

Ahem --Sorry about that. Anyway, back to what I was saying. Here's a helpful hint to help you get through those kinds of days: Remember, all unhappiness is caused by an attachment to an expectation. Ask yourself, What expectation did I have in this situation that was not met? Is my attachment to that outcome helping or harming me? In every journey from where you are to where you want to be, the goal of self awareness is what matters. Everything in between is ego. Unhappiness is what the unreal you needs to survive. Freedom comes when you can let it all go because you've found what's real about you. Now there's a bit of cryptic clarity for your Friday! Enjoy!
