''Nothing That You Need''
over all you think you lack
You've got all that's required, friend
for nothing's been held back
Success, wealth and abundance,
and to have and eat your cake
Exist first as decisions
and are choices that you make
In other words, your happiness
and how you feel today
Are not results dependent on
things going a certain way
And all you think you needed
that you think will hold life's key?
You're here, alive, without them
so how crucial could they be?
Life is its own complete reward
know this and you'll concede
For you and for your maker
that there's nothing that you need!
COMMENTARY:
I just finished reading Neale Donald Walsch's Communion with God, part of the Conversations with God series. Today's life rhyme was inspired by an understanding of the first of the Ten Illusions of Humans--that "Need" exists. These ten beliefs form the basis of the flawed perception of reality that causes all of mankind's woes. The ten illusions are that
1. Need Exists
2. Failure Exists
3. Disunity Exists
4. Insufficiency Exists
5. Requirements Exist
6. Judgement Exists
7. Condemnation Exists
8. Conditionality Exists
9. Superiority Exists
10.Ignorance Exists
Knowing that these conditions are merely illusions, and do not exist in Ultimate Reality is the key to living life to its intended fullness and purpose. As the weeks progress, I'll offer life rhymes devoted to each of the ten illusions!
