just enough gas to reach there and back
Just enough water to put out the fire
just enough money to solve this new lack
Seems I live just at the border of barely
moving from one dire need to the next
With nothing left over to save for tomorrow
with nothing to give others and that makes me vex
Wouldn't it be nice to live always in extra
tasting the froth and cream of my cup
Living life full on the other side of having
sharing earth's wealth now before time is up?
So why do I keep all my cups as half-empty?
it's always been so and I've searched to find why
My concept of love became how I viewed money
an endangered resource in limited supply
But others have taught me like air for the breathing
that love is abundant and never is spent
There's always a place to return and refill
so drink and be merry to the full heart's content
Life's gifts are abundant and there for the having
around you is more than enough so don't fear
But know first that how you view love and its giving
determines if you'll have your extra to spare!

Stop living on empty! Note: The first few Walt's Friday Inspiration emails included quotes from various authors and personalities. It wasn't until episode 19 that I tried my hand at writing the rhyme-based inspirational messages myself. The rest, as they, is history...
