''Keep Deciding''

some decisions are sharper
and cut through the mire
and the fog of bad habits
that we find ourselves in

some decisions are like rulers
that preside over our lives
and like statesmen for office
always campaigning to win

some decisions are straighter
and like a path through the thicket
lead us headlong to wishes
so we don't wander blind

some decisions are older
collect years' worth of wisdom
but then wait to express it
as if they know the right time

...and if your decisions are found wanting,
take heart:

they will grow sharp with the grind
they'll achieve power in time
will too become a straight line
and will mature like fine wine, so..

P.S. (So keep deciding to do the thing,
reset your goals and be bold
for today might be the day
that your decision takes hold!)
