''Damage Control''

Some said "cool, no problem, stuff happens"
others said "off with his head!"
Some showed themselves to be fairweather friends
and off into the sunset they sped

And with some turbulence up high at 10,000 feet
a flash storm churns a once even keel
and some jumped ship and others bailed out
to live their lives in an unforgiving sea

But the journey goes on unaffected
and the port is more firmly in sight
and neither hook nor crook nor absence of light
can ever knock us out of this fight!
