''When Butterflies Take Wing''

Today I saw a butterfly
just having quite a ball
It made me stop and think about
the reason for it all

The purpose for our being here
is simply to become
To manifest creation
for we're greater than its sum

Abundance is our birthright
and the blessings always flow
The frequency of smiles
is how we measure if we know

For every time you think a thought
in line with what is true
The sun comes out and butterflies
take wing inside of you

But every time you think a thought
that counters your true worth
That sun is dimmed and butterflies
suppress their natural mirth

Don't settle for survival
self-denial, pain and lack
There's so much more that's yours
if you resolve you won't hold back

Like butterflies on summer days
like things seen by a child
The purpose of it all:
to live the life that makes you smile!
